Used six pulse non-regenerative 2- quadrant digital AC/DC drives of series DCS500/DCS800/ACS550/ACS850.The Bypass arrangement was provided using soft starters/DOL/Star-Delta starters.
  • PCC/MCC LT panels: Design, Engineering and Commissioning of LT electrical panels ratings upto 4000A for fault level of 50KA/1sec.

The VBM motors are operated at same speed and speed synchronization implemented using master-follower control philosophy. The PLC is used for operating the machine in auto as well as manual mode.
  • Conveyor application: Engineering and commissioning of control systems using ABB make DTC ACS850 series AC drives for controlling conveyor motors. This is a multi-motor application and individual motors are protected for stall protection using MPCBs.

  • Railway Wheel Lathing Application (NGUF/UFWL, NSWL): Design, engineering and commissioning   of control systems for Master- Follower application in which motor shafts are coupled solidly to each other by railway wheels so that no speed difference between the drives is possible. Wheels are reshaped by turning with cut off maximum 2 to 8mm.
  • Master-Follower applications: Designed & successfully commissioned

so many applications for OEM industries using DC drives as well AC drives .Follower drives were programmed in either speed control or torque control mode depending on the application requirements.

DC drives (6-pulse/12-pulse) were configured in series or parallel to share high power or current requirements .Aleternatively,DC motors (Armature & field circuit) were connected  in either series  or Parallel connections.
